Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood.  Thanks to generous blood donors, the Red Cross collects and distributes nearly half of the nation's blood supply.  Over the last year, we helped run 85 blood drives, collecting 3,368 units of blood.  The blood donated in Salem County could help 10,104 patients.  Our local high schools collected 21.8% of the total blood collected in Salem County.
